China has expressed its readiness to collaborate with the newly formed Nepali government, following Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal's decision to create a new coalition with the support of CPN-UML, Rastriya Swatantra Party, and Janata Samajbadi Party, abandoning the Nepali Congress-led alliance.

During a routine press briefing in Beijing on Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning remarked, "China has observed Nepal's recent formation of a new ruling coalition and restructuring of its cabinet. We earnestly hope that all factions in Nepal will come together and collaborate to facilitate the establishment of a new government smoothly, aiming for political stability, economic progress, and enhancement of people's well-being."

As a supportive neighbor and collaborative partner, China places significant emphasis on Nepal-China relations and is prepared to collaborate with the new Nepali government to uphold the five principles of peaceful coexistence. This includes strengthening traditional friendship, deepening practical cooperation, and fostering strategic collaboration between Nepal and China, aimed at fostering enduring friendship and prosperity-oriented development.

Mao added that the partnership will continue to evolve, bringing additional benefits to the people of both nations. Meanwhile, India, Nepal's neighboring country, has yet to comment on the recent political developments in Kathmandu.
